Metro Tunnel Creative Program

Traversing through the Metro Tunnel circuit

The Metro Tunnel Creative Program commissioned us to create hoarding artwork to help manage the construction impact of the Metro Tunnel development.

This design reflects the Metro Tunnel traversing throughout the Melbourne region. The geometric multi-coloured circular grid design interconnects alluding to the new train tunnels and stations. Contemporary linear diamond shaped patterns integrate throughout the graphic forms which reflect upon traditional Aboriginal South Eastern Australian cultural expressions. The hoarding was then reused as sturdy shopping bags to minimise landfill, a brilliant idea from the Metro Tunnel Creative Program!
