Providing a better life for communities
McConnell Dowell is a creative construction company. McConnell Dowell Australia’s purpose is “Providing a better life” by building infrastructure and providing employment and business opportunities for First Nations peoples and communities. McConnell Dowell required our design services to create a visual identity that would align with their purpose and values.
This design depicts a bird’s eye view of the Australian landscape, in recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander continuous connection to land, waters and culture. The central circular ring formation represents the start of McConnell Dowell Australia’s commitment to their reconciliation journey which is symbolised by the ‘stake in the ground’.
The three surrounding circular rings symbolise People, Community and Connection reflecting McConnell Dowell Australia’s commitment to reconciliation. The journey pathways connect people expressing the commitment of McConnell Dowell Australia to developing strong, trusting and respectful relationships.
