The MURRA Program was developed in 2012 by the Melbourne Business School to inspire and educate established Indigenous business owners and leaders over a 3 month program. As well as delivering world-class business content, the MURRA program enhances the business networks of participants, develops social networks and provides social-emotional support and potential business partnerships.
MURRA means ‘fish-net’ in the Woi Wurrung language of the Wurundjeri people of Melbourne. The MURRA brandmark represents a fish or eel trap – looking into the open end of the net. The net captures the fledgling businesses, maturing, educating and inspiring them to be leaders within the Australian Indigenous Business Sector.
